Clark Skamania Flyfishers Fishmaster:
Roy DeRousie,  rderousie@gmail.com  503-522-4214
Clark Skamania Flyfishers Grand Fishmaster:  Donna Newcomb

If you are planning to attend this outing and to make reservations, now is a good time.  Please let Roy or Donna know your lodging plans, email address, cell phone number AND THAT YOU ARE FROM COF.

We will meet for a BYOB Happy Hour at the city park next to the Oasis RV park on Sunday, May 2 at 5:00 pm. to go over fishing information.

Because Covid-19 will probably still be a concern, please wear a mask and social distance when in groups.  Unfortunately, there will also be no potluck dinner the last night this year.

If you have any questions contact Roy DeRousie at 503-522-4214 or rderousie@gmail.com.

Camping and RVs:  Oasis Resort RV and Golf Course, 2541 Basin St, Ephrata, WA 98823   509-754-5102 or oasisrvandgolfcourse.com   The Oasis has showers, tent sites and an RV dump.  The sites currently reserved have water and electricity but no sewer.  If you want full hookups, let the Oasis know, there may be some that open up at a later date. There are also undeveloped campgrounds at some of the lakes and creeks, such as Coffee Pot Lake.

Fishing Information:  Tour Grant County has a website, TourGrantCounty.com, which has the top 35 fishing waters in Grant County, as well as attractions, accommodations, and recreation.  I also have a dozen booklets which have the same information and map for these waters.  Some of the spots are Rocky Ford Creek, Blue Lake, Deep Lake, Quincy Lake, Coffee Pot Lake, Pacific Lake, and many more.  A fish finder is helpful on the lakes.  It can be very windy on some of the lakes.  If you can get a weather report with predicted wind speed and direction, it would be helpful.

Additional Information:  There is a Safeway and several gas stations in Ephrata.  There are some restaurants in Ephrata and Soap Lake, but their open status in May is unknown.

Don’t Forget:

Washington fishing license
Discover Pass
Lifejackets
Watch for rattlesnakes
And as Jack Whiney says, “Keep your rods inside your vehicles when traveling at Highway speeds.”

REGISTRATION NOT REQUIRED.....
